About Gamers Beat Cancer

We are a community built on a simple belief: gaming can bring comfort, connection and hope to people living with cancer.

Our Story

How a love of games grew into a support community for people facing cancer.

The Beginning

A Simple Idea

Gamers Beat Cancer began with the understanding that many people facing cancer found comfort in games, but had nowhere to talk about the emotional weight of their diagnosis.

Growing Together

A Welcoming Community

We opened our doors to people of all ages, backgrounds and types of cancer, creating a space where shared play leads to honest conversation.

Today

Supporting Mental Health

Our work now focuses on the mental health issues that come with living with cancer, including the trauma of diagnosis, prognosis and treatment.
